So a little bit about me…
I first discovered yoga some twenty years ago and was amazed at how it made me feel.
I had been suffering with bad headaches for a long time and was really stressed out with a busy high powered job, after practising for a couple of months I realised that my stress levels were under control and my headaches had disappeared.
Yoga for me is a meeting of body, mind and soul. I love the way the breathe takes you deeper into yourself giving you a calming, relaxing effect and the additional bonus is the strengthening and toning of muscles helping you in your daily life with energy levels and improving your posture to name but a few of the many benefits.
I have continued to practice yoga over the years and in the last 15 years it became more and more important to my life, when I dropped off my practice my tension and stress levels increased and my energy levels dropped.
I loved my practice so much I decided to deepen my knowledge and took a British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Course, which has since led to me embarking on my BWY teacher training in 2018.
I would like to share my passion and knowledge of yoga with others with the hope that they too will benefit from the practice of yoga.
I am fully committed to making yoga accessible for all regardless of age, size, flexibility, anyone can practice yoga with the right props it can be beneficial even if you cannot leave your chair. You too can practice and benefit from the gift of yoga.
